Ever since I bought them I've feared for this to happen. Today after 2 years I at good last managed to donate my Lizard Minion Trap & Spray and 10 Percent Discount Card, when I quickstocked items into my shop.

I've always wondered, why we don't get a warning message, when we donate something. Something that prompts us to confirm, that we want to dump items.

The new quickstock is still very confusing to my eyes, I ususally make sure, I clicked the fourth row and not the fifth, but obviously this one time, when I had made an error, I did not.

I still think, there should be the need to confirm, that we want to donate.

It's already been said that a little 'Confirm' message would slow down the site so that's not happening anytime soon. Just really double-check next time.

Renaissance, I've been double checking for 2 years, it's just annoying, having to click those extra items to keep them in your inventory 50 times a day, anyway... I don't know, how I did it, I had to klick the circles a second time and then the stuff was gone, ... :( Another option would be, to create an extra link to donate and remove it from the shop quickstock altogether.

Well, nobody donates all day long, do they. The quickstock would be just as quick, just more safe.

I cringe every time I see people throwing around the idea of confirmation messages.

I've accidentally donated some expensive items before as well, so I understand where you're coming from, but I just don't think a confirmation message is necessary. All it will do is force you to go back and double check, so why not just take the time to double check yourself without having to be prompted to do so? Slowing down and watching what you're doing is just as effective as a confirmation box would be.

Ugh, that sucks! I'm so sorry. That's also one of my fears. I have drummed it into my head though that the donate buttons are on the very last row. So now I just make sure to steer clear of that row.

You'd just ignore the warning message cause you're used to it.

What would be better is a warning when donating your trap, spray, discount card, or other special items that reside permanently in ur inventory.

See, I just can't understand why are people are so against a confirmation box popping up if you click the donate column. The only thing I can think is that people are thinking the box would pop up every time you do anything in quick stock at all, not just if you donate. I don't know how that would slow down anything, except when you are donating - but wouldn't it speed up everything else in the long run, because you don't have to double and triple check to make sure you're not accidentally about to donate something important? And really, how often does everyone donate (intentionally) compared to moving items to shops/vault/etc?

In any case - that sucks that that happened :( I use quick stock 34829 times a day, so I can absolutely see how one time your brain could freeze and you click the last column instead of the second to last column. Two years is a pretty good run though xD

I am sorry to hear that, I have donated my trap and spray not once but twice. Luckily the second time I was able to run over to the DC and grab my trap and just had to replace the spray. I do my best to be careful but sometimes when I am tired it is hard to see what I am clicking and I probably shouldn't have been online then LOL

I see the point of Tche. There are times wherein we think that it's nothing but just another clicking area so we just click on it again and eventually didn't realize we placed in our items in the DC or what's worse delete it.

I'm sorry you have lost your trap :(

Yes. Even at places where they already are, including quests, I want them gone. I hate them, they slow me down.

This is why I throw my trap and spray in my vault before quickstocking. =/ Just can't take any risks.

Sorry for your loss.

I've only accidentally donated once before, and that was completely my fault. I was careless and didn't pay attention to what I was clicking. I really wasn't shocked to have it happen at the time.

I'm with Tche, pop ups are rather annoying little things. I understand why people want them, but I'd rather just pay more attention to what I'm doing.

Really, I think it would be way better to be able to attach the spray, trap, and discount cards to your account somehow. That way no one would be able to donate them. :/

I like this idea.

I've never donated anything I didn't mean to because I always click. Every. Single. Item. :'D

Well, it sucks that you donated them, but like Tche said, a confirm-box would slow the site down. I even hate it when they pop up in the inventory when you want to Delete/Donate something there or if you want to put something in your collection... there can't be 'Are you sure?' messages for every little shit ._. You just have to be careful all the time and if you are in a hurry, put them into your Vault before you Quickstock next time.
